| On Saturday, December 21st and Sunday, December 22nd, Oakland was very lucky to have none other than the man himself - Santa Claus - visit our community and participate in the departments annual Santa Detail.
Santa, along with members of the OVFD and Oakland PBA, made stops around the borough to collect toys and food for the needy. This year was a great success thanks to all of the residents who came out to support this effort and generously donate many, many toys and gifts of food.
The Oakland Fire Department would like to thank all of the residents who came out to support this effort. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. |
