Oakland Fire Attends Training in Lincoln Park

By Chief Robert Knapp
October 24, 2010

Members of the Oakland Fire Department attended a 8 hour training class in Lincoln Park. The training was on the "Res-Q-Jack" system. This system was designed to stabilize and lift vehicles, dumpsters, collapsed walls or anything else that requires stablization or lifting. This makes your situation stable and safe to enter and remove a victim. The class was hosted by the Lincoln Park Fire Department and taught by Mid-Atlantic Rescue and Res-Q-jack personnel. A lot was learned by each firefighter that attended the class. A great day was had by all.
