On Saturday, February 12th, we hosted a group of Kindergarten Daisy scouts from Troop 98286 at the Company 1 firehouse. Fire fighters Jeff Pereira, Josh Horn, Grady Dies, along with probation member Nick Raczkowski, gave the Daisy scouts an inside look at what it means to be a fire fighter. Dear Chief Dies,

Last Saturday, 2/12/22 our Kindergarten Daisy Troop representing all 3 elementary schools in town had a visit to the firehouse. This was one of our first big trips out and the girls had a wonderful time.

We were so happy they were engaged with questions and answers because they are sometimes shy. Thank you for the welcoming experience.

Our adult leaders also learned a lot that day too. Please send a special thank you to firefighter Pereira for organizing this special visit.
