| The Oakland Fire Departments softball team was victorious Friday night against undefeated Carlstadt Fire Department in a tight game 16 to 14. Then on Sunday morning they were at it again. They defeated Westwood Fire Department in a ever closer game as pitcher Jack Longa hit in Cody Leroy for the winning run in the top of the 7th. The team has an overall record of 8-2 and they are in 2nd place in the league.
