| This Monday for the weekly drill, members of Company 2 headed across town to the upper parking lot at Valley Middle School to drill on pump operations and to practice flowing water from hand lines and operating portable monitors. The hydrant was hit by 1034's crew and water was fed from one engine to the other. Hand lines were stretched from both engines to practice operating the pumps and to give the newer members the feel of working with hand lines. The deck gun was taken off Engine 1032 and mounted on the ground as a portable monitor and set up to flow water for more training. It was a very educational night. |
