A new decade, a new year and a new Chief for the Oakland Fire Department. On January 1, 2010, Chief Robert Knapp became the 29th Oakland Fire Department Chief. All of the 2010 Oakland Fire Department's officers took their oath of office in the Oakland Borough council chambers at 12 noon on January 2nd. Mayor John Szabo administered the oath to each of the department officers. The complete list of the 2010 officers can be found below:
