Oakland held its annual Town Carnival (June 14, 15, 16 and 17) down at the Recreation fields and once again the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department had its Dunk Tank out and there was plenty of dunking going on.
Various OVFD members as well as Councilman Russell Talamini and Councilwoman Sandra Coira braved the cold water of the tank to the delight of many carnival goers. In addition to the Dunk Tank the Fire Department had educational materials available for all Carnival goers and information for anyone interested in joining the all volunteer fire department.
Thanks to everyone who participated in this year event and most of all thanks to all of the carnival fans who help to support our booth.
See you next year!
