On Sunday, January 29th members of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department, Oakland First Aid Squad and Oakland Police Department visited the Garrard Berman Day School to show the children and their parents fire, first aid and police safety equipment. Our members explained and demonstrated how various pieces of equipment are used and allowed the children to tour the trucks and learn more about the jobs the fire, first aid and police departments do for our Community.
