On Friday, November 18th, the OVFD responded to a car fire that took place just off the intersection of Ramapo Valley Road and Court House place and was able to extinguish the fire without further incident.

The driver of the car reported that as he turned off the highway onto Ramapo Valley Road his car lost power and he noticed smoke coming from the rear of the car. He was able to exit the car and was unharmed as the rear of the car was engulfed in fire. The cause of the fire was unknown.
