On Wednesday, October 26th, three new members of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department were sworn in to the Department by Mayor Schwager at the Council meeting.

The Department welcomes two new Junior member - Grady Dies and Gary Greulich - and 1 Regular member - Carlos Henriques - to the ranks.

Accompanying the new members at the council meeting was Assistant Chief Vincent Dies who is also the father of new Junior member Grady Dies as well as Tyler Dies who already is a Junior member. A great family tradition has been born.
