Bush Plaza Flag Pole Gets a Fresh Coat of Paint

On Thursday, October 6th, the flag pole located at Bush Plaza got a much needed fresh coat of paint thanks to the efforts of the Oakland DPW who supplied materials and landscaping, while painter services were provided by members of the OVFD who included Sean Torpey, Tom Torpey and Ex-Chief Robert Knapp.

Due to the height of the flag pole the Departments ladder truck is needed so that the pole could be painted and the Eagle could get spruced up.
